Jim Feiner moved to Chilmark at the age of 6 when his parents took over the Beach Plum Inn from his Grandparents where he summered since birth. Following college in 1991, Jim moved back to the Vineyard with a background in marketing and business so Real Estate seemed a natural career to try. Always interested in giving back to the community, Jim has served as a Conservation Commissioner for 5 years, as a member of Community Service’s Possible Dreams auction committee for 10 years and most recently as a founding members of the Chilmark Housing Committee for the past 6 years. His devotion to creating affordable housing has gone in a new direction and he has taken the initiative to find, purchase and help create opportunities for people in need using tools provided by local towns. Jim’s interpersonal skills, local knowledge and commitment to preserving the quality of the Vineyard’s multiple environments are just a few of the reasons you’ll enjoy working with him.
